Her intensely organic percussive atmospheres are a wonder to behold - ancient and primal yet groove-based and contemporary with an air of sophistication. And probably the best compliment - they really do make you want to move (not to mention get in touch with your spiritual side in the process). STILL CHILLIN' features very low-tempo, sensual rhythms with a zen theme. Deep drum beats and shakers sound in a haunting soundscape of ambient synths, strings and vocal textures. The whole production is very low-key with an emphasis on the drums, the other elements are more of a ghostly presence in the backdrop. A surprisingly powerful album!
