Written and performed by the acknowledged master and pioneer of space music this music has been specifically produced with stargazers in mind – it is the ideal accompaniment to an evening spent admiring the wonders of the night sky - with or without a telescope. Sleeve notes have been written by David Levy, co-discoverer of the Shoemaker-Levy comet.
"For a while now," Serrie explains, "I've wanted to go back to the AND THE STARS GO WITH YOU format and re-explore deep celestial regions. I used the model of a night of sky observing and what might be happening in the mind's eye of the observer. I also wanted a professional astronomer to give me an opinion of how close the music came to the actual feeling and experience, so I contacted David Levy. I was honored that he contributed the liner notes to THE STARGAZER'S JOURNEY."
As with much of Serrie's recorded work, the galactic soundscapes sound surprisingly warm and have a calm yet transcendent appeal for a wide audience
