Set against the shoreline sounds of waves crashing and seagulls frolicking overhead, multi-instrumentalist Deuter crafts soothing soundscapes out of meticulous flute melodies, piano and light airy synthesized ambience. Stylistically, SEA AND SILENCE is reminiscent of his album BUDDHA NATURE; both feature a very calm, abstract and slightly melancholy atmosphere seemingly created with meditative activities in mind. The peaceful title track, "Coral Gardens," and "Seven Sacred Pools" are a few of the highlights.
