On CLASSICS II-EXPLORING NATURE WITH MUSIC, Dan Gibson and Hennie Bekker continue their collaborative effort to meld great classical works with natural sounds. Beethoven, Chopin, Listz, and Vivaldi are some of the classical composers whose works are arranged and performed by Bekker on the album. To achieve the delicate balance between the works of man and nature was a challenging, albeit rewarding task. Dan drew calls from a variety of wildlife species including the Winter Wren, Pacific Tree Frogs, the Timber Wolf and many others. The intricate blend of sympathetically balanced classical harmonies and wilderness sounds results in music that is restful and uplifting intensify as you travel the marshlands. As night falls, the distant rolling thunder and light rain give the Loon and even more mysterious sound. Dan Gibson offers tranquility and solitude to soothe harried ears.
