REIKI ESSENCE, which marks their third collaboration together, is a continuation of the themes presented in their previous recordings. The music is soft and flowing throughout, with lots of meandering keyboards and guitar passages. One particular instrument present on Anuvida and Tyndall's recordings is the kiboe. This unique harp-like instrument was created by Anuvida and lends the music a fluidness, which accentuates the album's sense of tranquility. Although designed for Reiki practice, this album would work well for massage practice, yoga or background music in a spa.
