POSTNATAL YOGA, created by master yoga instructor Shiva Rea, is designed to nourish a mother's body, ease the tension of caring for a newborn and re-strengthen muscles utilized during labor and delivery. The program centers the mother's awareness as she rebuilds her pelvic muscles, strengthens her abs and lower back, stabilizes the spine, opens her hips and maintains balance (while creating power in the legs and lower body) - all to help new mothers regain their pre-pregnancy body shape. The program is divided into three segments of varying intensities, which allows mothers to chose which segment they feel they feel prepared for on a day to day basis.
