The harmonious ebb and flow of oceanic tides provide the backdrop of this peaceful potpourri of nature and music from producer/instrumentalist Anugama. Besides the surf, the other highlighted sound is that of the Indian tambura. Oddly enough, when heard against the backdrop of crashing waves and vivacious birdsong (the first track), the instrument almost sounds like part of the wildlife backdrop. The first of the two elongated tracks is the upbeat "Inner Waves," which features a winding keyboard melody line, and is fleshed out with added environmental sounds. "Timeless," the second track, is much more sparse, relying on the ocean and tambura without additional accompaniment. Both tracks create a healing atmosphere conducive to relaxation and meditation.
