Drawing its inspiration from Marion Zimmer Bradley's novel of the same name, MYSTS OF AVALON is an enchanting journey into Celtic lore. Multi-instrumentalist Llewellyn presents a series of nine tracks that delve the listener into the tale of a druid woman, who travels through a magical mist to the otherworld. Here she experiences the Summerlands and meets the Goddess Ceredwin. The music incorporates the sounds of keyboards, flute, uilleann pipes, guitar, vocal textures and piano to create a haunting, dreamy soundscape. The music is tranquil and light, with a mild Celtic flair. Guest Kevin Kendle provides the album's piano melodies and Juliana provides the vocals, most of which are of the wordless variety, save "The Calling" which features full lyrics.
