The music stays in line with what one might expect from a Snatam Kaur album - sweet, dreamy arrangements, a mix of Eastern and Western instrumentation (harmonium, strings, Indian percussion, light synth) and tender singing. The mantras themselves are derived from the Sikh tradition of Gurbani kirtan. They offer praise and ask for blessings from the Great Mother.
