LIGHTNESS OF BEING is a collection of relaxation-oriented pieces derived from the various albums of multi-instrumentalist Anugama. Featuring pieces comprised of light guitar, percussion, flutes, and synthesizer atmospherics, Anugama crafts a sonic environment that beckons one to surrender to the therapeutic bliss of peace and tranquility. There are five new tracks made specifically for this release. "Eastern Sun" and "Shaku Sunset" both centrally feature the shakuhachi flute - the former with additional instruments, the latter solo with nature sounds. "Purple Dawn" is an ethereal piano recording and both "The Empty Sky" and "Eternal Traveller" fall in the realm of abstract ambient music.
