Formerly known as TIGERS OF THE REMIX, KALI THUNDER features mixes of material from James Asher's album TIGERS OF THE RAJ, remixed by some of the U.K.'s hottest DJ's. With a line-up of mixmasters that includes DJ Haiko, Solar Quest and Kamal Nitrate throwing down the grooves, Asher's creations take on a whole new energetic aura that blends cultural influences with electronica. A great example is "Prayer Wheel" (remixed by Bi-Polar) which takes Middle Eastern vibes and embeds them in a hypnotic chill-out atmosphere. Other highlights include "Nataraj Express," "Duskfire" and a soaring, beat-heavy trance mix of "Liquid Sky" from Swordfish.
