Tranquility and the vision of a world in harmony are the driving inspirations behind IMAGINE PEACE, an album of lush instrumentation from Dean Evenson and the Soundings Ensemble. The album, which features new renditions of pieces from the album INSTRUMENTS OF PEACE as well as a few new tracks, is highlighted by the gorgeous, silken vocals of late songstress Singh Kaur, which grace over half of the album's songs. The music here is gentle and uplifting, with Kaur's singing interwoven with guitar, flute piano, subtle percussion and keyboards. One particular bright spot is the album's namesake, a stunning cover of John Lennon's famous "Imagine."
