HEALING RAGAS is a very soothing, atmospheric album of Asian instrumentation, which focuses heavily on the interwoven sonorities of the earthy bansuri flute (Singh) and the metallic plucking of the santoor (Vyas). A sea of tonal synthesizers, courtesy of Shastro, adds to the subtle ambience of the pieces. The album is divided into two 30-minute ragas: the night-themed "Raga Yaman" and the day-themed "Raga Bhaivari."
