GREEN MEADOW STREAM BY WILD SANCTUARY

GREEN MEADOW STREAM BY WILD SANCTUARY
Near Yuba Pass in the Sierra Nevada Mountain region lies a quiet, secluded meadow. A gentle, crystalline stream weaves across the land, its waters babbling as it disappears around a nearby bend. The tall grasses on either side of the stream are home to a myriad of small creatures, while in the lofty pines above, birds (warblers, sparrows, robins, blackbirds) chatter pleasantly as they go about their daily business. For many years, this land remained an undisturbed, natural sanctuary of forest life. Unfortunately, this would not remain the case. The logging industry saw this land as a rich source of lumber. As such, although the peaceful environment still exists, much of what is heard on this recording is lost, existing now only in the imaginations of listeners.
