From Tony O'Connor's Studio Horizon label comes a breath of fresh air in the guise of didgeridoo player/multi-instrumentalist Matt James. Simply put, Evolution is one highly enjoyable CD, filled with everything from cheery uptempo vocal cuts to speedy techno numbers to didge-laced ambient tunes. Matt plays didgeridoo, guitars, keyboards, flute and an assortment of hand drums. He's joined by Tony himself on some cuts, along with guitarist Paul Clement, vocalists Mary D. and Peru, and bassist Tony Potter.
