Deuter presents another sublime fantasia of healing beauty in the form of EARTH BLUE, an exclusive collaboration between Volkswagon Autostadt and New Earth Records. The sounds featured here are extremely relaxing and ethereal, comprised of subtly ebbing and flowing synthesizer atmospheres, impressionistic piano melodies and the violin playing of Annette Cantor. At several points during the recording, nature sounds like lapping water and birdsong are incorporated into the backdrop of the pieces for an even stronger calming effect. This would be a great album to play while trying to meditate - the music is so dreamy and serene that it naturally makes your imagination want to take flight.
