Over twenty years ago, music producer J. Aaron Brown released "A Child's Gift of Lullabyes," a collection of tender melodies for comforting toddlers. The album became a success, spawned a series and has been counted by many as one of the best and most effective lullaby albums produced. To commemorate his landmark album, Brown enlisted Emile Pandolfi to create a special interpretation of the original album's songs, played solo on piano. Pandolfi, whose technique fits perfectly with the wistful innocence of the material, does a fantastic job of maintaining the lullaby atmosphere. The arrangements are mostly in the upper keys, with a twinkly elegance that fits the album and makes it suitable for the nursery. Play this album when you want to soothe a fidgety youngster - it will work like a charm.
