Brainscapes second release features multi-instrumentalist Alain Eskinasi's synthesized atmospherics accentuated with a myriad of authentic percussion instruments including clay drums, shakers and djembe to name a few. He is joined by Derk Mulder,who adds to their mysterious sound with his performance on the crystal bowls. CHAKRADANCER is based on the essence of the chakras with each song reflecting on a specific human characteristics such as emotion, will power, love, communication and vision. When listening to the each of the album's selections, its respective characteristic or sphere becomes stimulated. One particular highlight is the song "Vishuddha" (throat chakra) that features a blend of Sanskrit mantras and resonant whale sounds.
