LOVE is a recent project that re-imagines the works of the Beatles in very clever and respectful ways. Created by original Beatles producer Sir George Martin for an exclusive Cirque du Soleil performance in Las Vegas, the album was conceived as a means to pay tribute to the band through song and performance. The arrangements are where the innovation of this album truly lies - 26 popular cuts from the Fab Four are interspersed with bits and pieces of other songs, all made using the live master tapes from Abbey Road Studios. For example, "Strawberry Fields Forever" begins with John Lennon's original demo of the song, incorporates other versions of the song as it progresses, all the while sprinkling the song with various solos and segments from other Beatles songs like "Piggies" and "In My Life."
