HOPES & DREAMS BY LISA LYNNE
Over the last year, Lisa Lynne has been involved in a music therapy program at Los Angeles' City of Hope Cancer Research Center. Lynne traveled around the facility playing her harp for patients and staff, comforting them with her sweet music. In addition, she held teaching workshops where she taught patients to play the instrument. Her time here, surrounded by these humble, courageous people, was the inspiration for HOPES & DREAMS. Backed by the peaceful sounds of cello, bamboo flute, guitar and hammered dulcimer, Lynne offers ten cuts of relaxed, impressionistic harp melodies. The selections are peaceful and calming with an acoustic flair; a musical gift that listeners will surely treasure.
