SATORI
Available on CD for the first time, SATORI offers eight original compositions for shakuhachi (a 5 hole bamboo reedless flute) and koto (a 13 string zither). A group of Japanese Buddhist monks, known as the Komuso, believe they can reach a state of "satori" (a sudden, intuitive spiritual realization) by "blowing zen." This simple bamboo flute serves their spiritual development. Riley Lee on shakuhachi and Gabriel Lee on koto provide listeners with more than 59 minutes of music for meditation, yoga or relaxation, remastered in 20-Bit.
