The production of this recording originated in the need of noted Indian historian Thomas Mails to have ceremonial music for the rituals described in his book, Secret Native American Pathways...A guide to Inner Peace and the meditations on the medicine wheel taught in his seminars. After consulting with the Elders concerning the propriety of the project, Dik entered the sound studio with his sacred bundle and opened the ceremony during which he transformed his medicine into music.
